I want to build a camera slider, a track that a camera would mount onto and slide across in order to capture time laps shots. I've found several video tutorials and how-to articles on building these. It seems to be pretty cheap and easy.

Materials

• 2x 1-gang plastic outlet box
• 2x equal lengths of conduit tubing
• 4x conduit tubing screw connector

Motorized Tilt/Pan Version

If the first iteration is reasonably successful, I want to build one with the capability of moving along the track on its own, as well as tilting and panning. This will require a micro computer, likely Arduino.

Additional Materials

• Stepper motors
• Gears
• Timing belt
• Arduino (what kind?)
