Make DIY Gopro/Fauxpro tethers out of old shoe laces and ring terminals. Ring terminals should be available at Menards/Home Depot/Lowes. Figure out what size ring terminals I will need. Several resources for how to make these are available.

I made several tethers from old shoe laces and ring terminals. I have not tried them out yet but they appear to be sturdy. I may try testing one of them to see how much weight they can support.
