- Look at portfolio and see what's missing, what does it NEED?
- Go online (Behance.net and others) and look at what other designers have in their portfolios. Get ideas.
- Branding for cover of portfolio
- Go through inspirational images (in notebooks and online) and get ideas, get inspired.
- Start designing non-plastic-sleeve version of portfolio
- Make pages slightly smaller than 11x17 to allow for trimming
- Use somewhat heavy paper stock
- Get screw post binding stuff
- Start a blog
- Complete professional website. At least do a mockup version. Maybe make an interactive PDF in InDesign
