This page deals with the OLD kindle (with the keyboard). First thing that needs to happen with it is it needs to be jailbroken. After that I'd like to try installing a plugin called Leafpad, a text editor that has been repurposed to work with Kindle devices. If it works, this device will likely be used for reading and taking notes. If it does not work, this device will be turned into a clock. Yes, a clock. There is a tutorial for it, link to it.
