Remote currently not working. Tried changing the batteries but did not solve. Currently running the Fire TV app on my phone in order to work the device. I may have to buy a replacement remote from Amazon.

I switched the remote for the other fire stick so that is currently working. However, the fire stick that is not currently being used does not have a working remote. May try again to see if it will work. If it does not, a new remote will need to be procured.

It seems that the fire stick is capable of streaming games from the Steam server via the Steam Link app (Android) which would need to be sideloaded onto the fire stick.

It may also be necessary to purchase the fire stick accessory that would allow it to connect to the router via ethernet cable.
