Hi Scott,
I'm interested in starting a new club at IUSB. I've looked through the list of clubs on the website and could not find anything comparable to what I have in mind. The prospective club would be for students with an entrepreneurial spirit and those interested in just helping out. We'd be creating and working on all aspects of a startup, inviting students from other departments, majors, and clubs to help us in the process. Those involved would learn how to work in a team, problem solve, and to apply the skills they are learning in school to a real-world project. Obviously the foremost goal of any project we take on would not be to make money and any money made would be used for the club, the project(s), supplies, related costs and fees, etc.
Let me know what you think of the idea, or if you think you may know of a similar club already in existence (I'd love to join).
Also, do you have any suggestions for working up interest and getting members? Do you know a faculty member who might be able to help the club get off the ground?
Thanks,
Justin Morgan

I really want this to happen. If it doesn't I'll just have to figure out another way to get my shit off the ground.
