  • Look back at sketchbook and produce things that show promise, or just get inspired
  • Create typefaces based on ideas and sketches
  • Look at portfolio and see what's missing, what does it NEED?
  • Go online (Behance.net and others) and look at what other designers have in their portfolios. Get ideas.
  • Branding for cover of portfolio
  • Go through inspirational images (in notebooks and online) and get ideas, get inspired.
  • Start designing non-plastic-sleeve version of portfolio
  • Make pages slightly smaller than 11x17 to allow for trimming
  • Use somewhat heavy paper stock
  • Get screw post binding stuff
  • Start a blog
  • Complete professional website. At least do a mockup version. Maybe make an interactive PDF in InDesign
  • Dial-A-Song poster (see other note)
  • Re-branding of neighborhoods of NOLA? Magazine Street, French Quarter, Garden District, etc.
