What is RedMine?

RedMine is a free and open source, web-based project management and issue tracking tool. It allows users to manage multiple projects and associated sub-projects. It features per project wikis and forums, time tracking, and flexible, role-based access control. Rewrite this to be more approachable.

What Can RedMine Do?

  • Issue Tracking - For any problems you encounter with the system
  • News - To receive updates about and the status of the system
  • Documents - For relevant documents related to the system
  • Files - Other (non-text) files related to the system
  • Wiki - Similar to this wiki but...
  • Forums - For discussion and collective troubleshooting
  • Calendar - For providing schedules of system maintenance, media availability, and various other things
