I think I need to add a swap partition to the system drive. Try using this guide. Now that this has been done, let's add it to troubleshooting or something.

I need to try setting up port forwarding for various things in Docker again. I think I got that to work finally. So let's work on getting Open VPN up and running again.

Internal Access

This device can be accessed within the Home Network via the web GUI. The web GUI is accessed through the device's IP address. The device's IP address can be found by using the command line on the device itself or by logging into the Comcast Router web GUI.

Command Line Access

On the host device, enter the command ip a and hit enter. This will display the different interfaces and their respective connected IPs.

Router GUI Access

On any device connected to the Home Network, log into the Comcast Router web GUI by typing 10.0.0.1 into the browser's address bar. Navigate to the connected devices tab. This will display a list of devices connected to the router. It may require a process of elimination to find the correct IP but it should be there. The IP should be 10.0.0.XXXwith the XXX representing the assigned connection.

External Access

DuckDNS

The various web interfaces for sever apps are accessible through DuckDNS by first, forwarding the port on the Comcast Router then second, visiting imamouse111.duckdns.orgemoticon_unhappyport-number), where (port-number) is the port that is used to access the GUI.

Naming & Organizing

Rename files so they only include the show title, the season number, and the episode number. So they should be formatted like this:

Show Name - S01E01.kmv

Instead of using a sort folder as a place to keep files for renaming, I'm going to place shows in the main directory (not in the season directory) for shows while they wait to be fully collected and renamed.

Movies

Movie Title (year)

TV Shows

Show Title S01E01

Calibre will be used to organize books/comics and populate metadata, while Ubooquity will be used to serve the books to users.

Workflow

  • Media gets requested by users on Ombi
  • Media gets approved by admin
  • Media gets automatically submitted to Sonarr/Radarr/Lidarr
  • Media gets automatically pushed to NZBget for downloading
  • Rename media according to naming convention (can NZBget automate this? May just have to use FileBot)
  • Upload media to appropriate drive

Sharing Access

Apps with Shared Access

  • Plex - For media access
  • Ombi - For media requests and issues
  • Calibre - For book access

Troubleshooting Shared Access
